and Cadiz, the Mustang he tamed ...
" ... he ‘was’ a wild Mustang and his name is Cadiz (like
the city, I named him.) He was about 4 when the BLM captured him and I’ve
had him 4 years now. I am teaching my wife to ride by letting her hop
on him bareback – it’s the best way to learn. I “gentled”
Cadiz myself and now, he is like a big puppy… follows me everywhere.
When we go “out” for a 4-6 hour ride, I put a western saddle
on him…otherwise, just bareback works.
